Introduction to Infographics with Piktochart

Objectives:

This hands-on session provides an overview of infographics and tools as well as how they can be used. Participants will learn about best practices and guidelines for designing effective infographics and evaluating them. In the latter part of the session attendees will get a chance to go through the entire design process of an infographic for a particular scenario using Piktochart.

In this session, participants will:

Gain an overview of infographics
Discover popular tools and strategies and what is supported through the University
Explore Piktochart interface
Design a graphic from start to finish (story, layout, visualization selection, font/colour)
