Introduction to Data Visualization for EDUB3528

Objectives:

This hands-on session provides an overview of data visualization, and how theory can be applied in practical reseach. Participants will learn about best practices and guidelines for creating their own visualizations. Learners will get a hands on opportunity to explore the UML instance of ArcGIS Online and interact with a project.

In this session, participants will:

• Gain an overview of data viz as applied to research
• Discover resources to support research
• Explore the ArcGIS Online interface
